The "Dimension Measurement System" analyzes images captured by a camera to measure the dimensions of objects. Measurement methods and measurement points are registered in advance as standards (values), allowing for instant dimension measurement and reducing measurement errors caused by manual processes. As for the measurement image and principle, the boundaries of objects in the image are first detected. From the detected edges, approximation processing is performed for various shapes, and dimensions are measured through various geometric calculations.
